Hi all,

Just wondering what IRC client people use these days? I'm not getting it to chat, I'm getting it to go on #bookz on undernet and get me some books. Granted, I have a Mac, but I hate Adium's implementation of IRC and I don't like the IRC clients on the Mac now. Apparently there's a client that'll read with system voice support. That'll suck in #bookz, as hundred's of messages come in at once.

So, was just wondering what you guys use on windows?

Thanks.

Wow. IRC is still around? I can't help but think of the one-handed typists of the mid 1990s.

there're a couple modified MIrc clients floating about. Personaly I use the miranda irc plugin. It seems to do the job nicely.

I used to use mirc with speech but I hate it. I used regular mirc but it gave me spyware. I should say, I got it from another user. Way back I used accessible chat which is no longer around I don't think and I tried bofhnet irc but I found it to watered down for my liking. Alas!
